Hello 2017!
Long time no talk.... I am sorry for the delay. I am a proud father of Heath Jason Harper born September 9th 2016 at 7:10am. He is my angel boy who makes all the thing better!
Zoë is my joy! She is going through some struggles, but I love her to pieces!
Shani is an angel and I count myself blessed to have her!
I have just been cast in a Musical... You're a good man Charlie Brown! as Charlie Brown. It is something I am so passionate about, but it is a real struggle to leave my wife for the rehearsals. I hate contention or feeling this way, but I know that I am supposed to do this musical... I have decided to just get superpowers and then I can do it all.
I think that the Lord has something for me to learn from this. I will keep that in mind as I continue.

Day 18 & 19
Friday:
LAST DAY OF MUSIC RESEARCH! I took the test in class today and really feel like I did a lot there. I learned some gems and am thankful for that class.
Tech and Piano were not as productive today, but we had fun in Piano and I finished my song... so that is that.
Eric and I cleaned Brenda's house and got her a gift to thank her for letting us stay at her house.
Saturday:
WE ARE HERE!!!! I am at my last day in the program and that is amazing! It was not as crazy as I thought it might be.
I am sitting in technology and trying to focus. I spent this morning walking around Ellensberg catching Pokemon... and will be performing my song I wrote for Zoe and Heath in Piano class. We hope to be on the road by 3 tomorrow. Well see how it goes and the drive to Boise is coming!

Day 16 & 17
Wednesday: today was surprisingly good. Not much to report on in the morning. Piano class I asked if we could have time to work on our projects and I was able to get a tone done on the song Smile, sunshine. I arranged for Zoe and Heath! It will be pretty!
Spent some time on my rough draft and turned it in! So that is that.
Thursday: I made it through today. It was a challenge in Technology! I had no focus, but made it through. Piano was spunky today and I was a little goofy. I feel really good about my arrangement. Overall I am learning a lot. I have two tests tomorrow??? don't really know what to expect.

Day 14 & 15
Monday: It is a new week!!!!! I am feeling much better about all of my classes! Seriously! I have a lot to learn still, but progress is awesome!
Morning classes were okay. I went on a stroll for lunch and caught some Pokemon! I am really into this game right now and like that it is a mental release.
Piano class.... It is not what I had hoped... What did I expect. But I think I will arrange a song for my babies and that will make me super homesick!
After class I went with Matt Fletcher(Evan Moss's friend that told us about this program) and caught a bunch of Pokemon and visited for a while. I then proceeded to have an extremely effective evening of work. My world music project is turned in. I was able to get my rough draft to a place and sent it to Shani! What a great start to my week!
Tuesday: It was a challenging day. Morning classes were directionless and I had a hard time focusing. piano class was a real struggle for me today. I do have an Idea to mashup You Are My Sunshine and Smile and think it will be a great opportunity! ...
I did some good work tonight. Finished all my Tech homework! Am excited to get my rough draft finalized tomorrow and really got some ground work on this song! We shall see what tomorrow brings!

Day 11, 12, 13
I am surviving! 2 weeks down!
Friday was a bit hard for me...... I was exhausted from talking with Eric and so I struggled to focus in my first 2 classes and therefore was frustrated in general. I then proceeded with that energy in Weidenaar's class. It was a good day, but I did not enjoy my teaching. I was flustered.
Eric and I went to 7-11 and got pizza and sodas and then returned to Selah for the night. I was able to get some work done, but again, brain was dead today.
Saturday: What a gloriously productive 2 hours this morning. I was able to get almost caught up and feel satisfied about that!!!!!!!
Tech was bearable today. We worked on Finale and I feel confident about that! I am excited to take some of those tools home with me!
Today was better in Weidenaar's class. I was able to vent in a way and strengthen my colleagues in that class and we ended with laughter, so that was great.
We went and got our Papa Murphy's for tomorrow and then took a detour to Yakima on accident.
Sunday: This morning I was able to get some work done! I feel almost ahead.
Church was good. I had a hard time focusing, but did enjoy the spirit there. We came home and had Pizza and salad. Peanut butter ice cream too!
I was able to get my assignments done and start on my research paper~ getting it ready for a rough draft! It is coming together!
I went for a walk in the rain and love the weather here! Good place to be.
Overall I am kinda ready for this week...

Day 9 & 10
Wednesday: Overall today was pretty intense. I was overwhelmed and really feel the mid-term ness of this day. I was able to work for a while on my outline and feel like it is as far as I can take it.
Tech class was great, we worked hands-on with a sound board. I learned a lot.
Lunch at the SERC!... Quesadilla Grande. (not worth it).
Struggled with Weidenaar's class today.
Eric and I stayed up until 3 talking. I think I will regret that later.
Thursday: I really like my research class. We have great life discussions and it makes it a lot of fun!
Today in Tech we played around with sound recording software. I want to buy Logic Pro for my Mac and some hand held recorders.
Weidenaar's class was good. I was able to teach the college level with music and I love it! What a great opportunity!
I struggled with this evening. I didn't have the mental capacity to really work hard. I think the lack of sleep was not helpful.
Tech class was great, we worked hands-on with a sound board. I learned a lot.

Day 7 & 8
Monday: It was a good day. Research was good today. I think I am ready to start making some headway with my paper.....
Tech was awesome. We are with DR. Allan and are delving into sound mixing boards and how to work them. It is overwhelming, but I am doing my best.
Choir Methods: Dr. Weidenaar is alright in this course... I like the idea of the class and really enjoy learning from the other members of class. I think there is much to learn!
Library was successful tonight. I got some research done. Worked on homework for all my other classes and made some headway with my outline!
Tuesday: I did well on my Program Notes!!!!! I like this class and am glad it is here for me to understand some key points!
Tech was good, still over my heard, but I am excited to go home and play around with mixing!
CM was also good. We got to teach each other some warm-ups and delve into music that is good for the group and did a lot of self-evaluation and support of peers.
Library was soooooooo good. I finished my ROUGH ROUGH Draft of my Outline and have tomorrow to really get it together! I am so blessed and feel the Lords hand as I work on these assignments!
