Distance

Distance, distancia . . . bueno es muy dificil! But it is doable. I am learning a lot about myself and what motivates me to be me. I can say that I am missing Shani like mad here in Orem, but I can also say look at the many blessings I have, Por exemplo: Just knowing her! Her smile, and the way she laughs really hard sometimes at thing I say and it make me feel good. The way she tickeles my head and fits into my arms. How she is able to deal with my citicisms of others and tell me to be nice( I'm working on it.) Her smile and the way she shares her feelings through song and dance. Her desire to follow the Savior and be a true disciple of Christ. Her support to GFR and other roomates. Her ability to tell me she loves me and I have no doubts that she is telling the truth. Her hands and her eyes!!! Oh those beautiful green eyes that make me melt every time I see them. Her breath taking voice that puts anyone in their place and instantly communicates a message. Her passion for everything in life and how well she expresses it! Her natural beauty in movement and in a desire to be a daughter of God who respects herself. Her past, her future, her Love. Her tears, her touch and her care. Her cooking and banana bread making. Her endless devotion to being a good student. Her respect for the priesthood and for family. Her love of Dogs and animals. Her charm and sense of humor. HER. I LOVE HER. So I choose to look at the distance as a chance to grow closer together even though we are far apart. I Love her and thats all that matters! To my love, Shani!

Let me tell you about someone that is pretty amazing! I think I'll start with some council the Lord gave me before I left to serve him for the summer of 09!
I recieved a blessing from my Bishop and my Father both stating that I needed to go to Nauvoo with an open mind and be thinking in qualities of a future companion. Now this through me off at first but with time I realized it is what the Lord wanted me to do.
As I was in Nauvoo i began to understand what is was he wanted me to do and that is when I met Shani! It was 110 days of joy and at the same time very hard to have feelings for her and not be able to express them. But after our long trial we were able to express our love!

What a comfort that was, but then it also brought many trials. I have grown so much since the day I met her and am still doing so, but it is nice to know that I am in Love with someone so amazing.

Wait, What did I just say L-O-V-E? That's right boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen! I am in LOVE and i'm loving every minute of it.
So as you can see, I am on cloud nine and loving every minute of it! I have been so blessed in my life to be guided to where the Lord would have me been and I am 100% sure that Nauvoo was where he wanted me to be so that I could meet Shandra Kay Worthen. We are currently living a part and it is difficult but I can find some hope in knowing I have her love and she has mine.
Your Name
I wrote your name in the sky,but the wind blew it away.I wrote your name in the sand, but the waves washed it away.I wrote your name in my heart, and forever it will stay.
- Jessica Blade -
I like this poem and it is how I feel about you.
I Love you Shani! REMEMBER THAT!

Collage life is amazing. . . ok fun. . . ok a little stressful. But, it isn't all that bad. I have been doing tonz of homework and am enjoying that. . . ok I am dealing with that. Well I know I must take it one day at a time. I have been so blessed in my life and I give praise to the Lord for my blessings.
I am currently preparing to audition for BYU's School of Music and am excited. I know that is what the Lord wants me to do with my life. I know that there are many things that are not constant in my life. But, I do know that the Lord is pleased with the course I am taking.
I am way excited to be able to make a difference in students lives and it starts with me putting in the effort as a teacher.
I LOVE LIFE and all the new experiences!

I Love Nauvoo!!!!

I am back from a summer I will never forget, I have learned so much about myself and the way the Lord talks to me! I can truly say " Not much I know for curtain, but this I know for sure, those people and that town have made me better then before."

I am so greatful to the Lord for his goodness. I am in true debt to Him for this constant trust and faith He had in me to do His work over the summer. There are too many experiences to share but here are a few: Phnemonea, clogging, singing all the time "Because we had to.", missionary moments at the sites etc., President's meetings, Lemonaters, Ice Cream Socials, site reading and recording, change( blocking, sickness, weather and bad memories), lifts, harmonica playing, building eternal friendships, crying(kinda) bearing testimony, puppet shows!, Shut, gardening, Nauvoo temple, spirit of those that came before, and most of all a better relationship with my Savior.

I LOVE NAUVOO!!!!!!!!!!

Getting Ready

Well I went to the temple twice today and felt a great deal of excitement to do genealogy. I also have a longing to be with someone. You know that sensation when you are in a phase in life and everything is going amazing and yet you feel empty, as if something, almost that a part of you is missing. Well that's where I am at. Every time I am doing almost anything I think of marriage, of eternal happiness and joy. The only hard part is waiting. I know that this life has ups and downs and in-betweens but the road would be a lot less painful to endure if I had someone to endure it with. AKA I'm marriage trunky. (def of marriage trunky: someone who can't wait to get married and is very set on it that it may distract them from completing the task at hand aka life.) But I will endure this monologued duet until the harmony prevails. . . OK mushy. But, alas I am hopelessly in love, with my future wife! To she who owns my heart, I bid you adieu, and adios.

On an adventure you sometimes get hurt. . .

Another few days in the live of un luchador! In life we have a lot that comes our way, in my opinion you better take it with a smile and a happy attitude! I am now 30 days till I hit the church service mission and I am excited. To put my words to poetry.
In the road of life a person can't go wrong.
Up or down or all around, each step is like a song.
You begin when your ready, you fail when you quite,
you find there are times when you just want to sit,
but sit you must not. Put you tears to good use,
and water you ambitions, set your dreams loose.
In life's journey you'll find the simple thing
is to trust in God and let truth's beauty sing.

My feelings exactly! I love life and can't wait to face it.

RM life is Dramatic

Wow, I may have just sounded like a total Drama King, and the fact that I just used the word Drama King tells you a little about me. It is part way into March and I feel more adjusted. I have only 7 words to say, it’s hard coming home from a mission. One learns and grows and changes in the mission field and at their coming home they realize all is the same here at home. You just have to apply the new you to the old world. Yo sé que la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días es la iglesia verdadera. Yo amo a Dios y a su plan para nosotros, y sé vamos a vivir col nuestros muertos y vivos para la eternidad. Sais la vie.
