So, once upon a time I was in a semester with 15 credits at BYU; while working part time teaching voice lessons, being in choir with a strong commitment level, taking care of my parents home (trying to!), applying to my major and getting accepted, oh and did I mention I am engaged and planning a wedding for June! Well, that said, I am satisfied with whatever grades I receive this semester. I put in a valiant effort and am okay with that. I have had so much support from the Lord and can't thank Him enough!
I love my life and my future wife!
This church is true! God bless us all.

Ahgghghghghhghhaghahghgh
BYU, Why do you have to be so lame, why? I am a good person and yet, I come to you for aid and you tell me that I must wait in line and show no compassion.... thanks? Well, I just wanted to formally thank you for adding extra stress to my already stressed life. One more thing, get better parking!

Milagros!
Well, a few things!
1st: I had an amazing Fireside tonight! We learned about prayer, and I am sure that I have asked the Lord in the past to help me do something (do well on a test . . . or an audition.) without laying out to him my plan as to how I will prepare myself and then asking that he will help me with that plan!
2nd: Hugh Jared Sittig (a neighbor of mine) saved my evening and a lot of stress. I had accidentally deleted my Family History assignment and couldn't find it anywhere, I told my parents and my dad mentioned Hugh might be able to help me! So I called and he did and I am so thankful!
3rd: God loves me! For the Stupid I am, He loves me. Esta es un Milagro!

Choral Ed. Program
Wow, BYU sure knows how to make anyone applying for their programs that they probably wont make it. It is funny; at first, I felt completely inadequate, but I have had to turn inward and realize my personal strengths and how blessed I am. This is really all that matters. I would be blessed to make the program, but similarly blessed to not. I am so lucky to have the many experiences I do have and to be where I am in life, therefore, I am considering myself blessed.
Thanks be to God!

GROWING UP
Well, I am at a crossroads in my life. I am slowly escaping my childhood and slowly entering my life of adulthood. It is an arduous process yet necessary. Though I may be at a "University" studying "grown-up" things, I would still consider myself a child at heart. I reminisce on the foibles of youth and the glorious "teen years" ... well they were interesting.
It is truly sad to let go of a part of me that molds who I am today. Lucky for me I don't have too. All that is required of us is to 'look forward with an eye of faith' knowing that God will provide. I know this is true. I also know that the Lord doesn't want me to forget my past, but to remember it, both the good and the bad. I know I made mistakes, but as Ether, I know that they will only make me stronger and better in the future. I owe my prosperity and success, to the Lord. . . all of it. He is the one who gives me confidence when I am lacking, faith when I can't see in front of my nose and hope when the storm seems never-ending.
I love the future... yes, it has fears... yes it is unknown... but, it is mine. That is what is exciting! I am my instrument through which God can mold to play the tune of eternity. I am the brush through which He will paint the glorious exaltation.well--that may sound a bit preachy, but I know God will use us to build his kingdom(Zion). I am honored to be a part of that!
